Farmers Bank & Trust closed their branches for the second time in many years for Presidents’ Day to hold a special all employee event in Texarkana, the third annual HEART Celebration. This event celebrated the Bank’s core values which are built into the word HEART: Honor, Excellence, Adaptability, Respect, and Teamwork, and included lunch, a state of the bank presentation from CEO Chris Gosnell, nationally recognized speaker and author Steve Gilliland, and HEART special recognition awards.
The following employees received HEART recognition awards: Jennifer Cheatham from Magnolia, AR, Matt Barnard from Magnolia, AR, Heather Baxley from Magnolia, AR, Tommie Coon from Camden, AR, and Maria Pineda from Magnolia, AR. Each of those employees received a $500 cash award. One employee, Sarah Powers from Texarkana, AR, was selected as the overall HEART award recipient and received a $1,000 cash prize.
Farmers also recognized multiple employees for extensive years of service to the Bank. Tina Davis, working in our Camden market, was recognized for 30 years. Recognition was also given to 7 employees for 20 years, 5 employees for 15 years, 11 employees for 10 years, 10 employees for 5 years, and 22 employees for 3 years of service.
